After completing my training I lived in rural Missouri working for a community hospital. I have been a Michigander since 2006 and worked in Jackson Michigan and with Henry Ford health system in Dearborn. I have over 20+ years of experience working with children, adolescents and adults.
My areas of interest are depression, bipolar disorder, ADHD/ADD, anxiety disorders and relationship issues however I have experience treating all psychiatric disorders including schizophrenia, substance abuse and sexual dysfunction.
Besides working in many different work settings I have lived in many diverse places from large metropolitan NYC to rural Missouri, giving me a unique perspective and understanding of different sociocultural issues. In the last five years beside providing clinical care I have been involved in teaching medical students and psychiatry residents. I held clinical faculty positions at Michigan State University and Wayne State University Medical Schools.
