Getting started
Common questions before your first visit.
SPRAVATO and TMS go through our Fast-Track Care lane — first appointment with Dr. Zubairi in 2–3 days. General psychiatry follow-up is scheduled during the call-back conversation, typically within 1–2 weeks.
A clinician — not an admin — calls you within 24 business hours. They'll ask about what brought you in, review your treatment history, and confirm the right next step. There's no commitment at this stage. If we're the right fit, we schedule from there.
Photo ID, your insurance card, a list of current medications including doses, and any prior psychiatric records you have. We'll send pre-visit forms via the secure portal in advance — completing those before the visit gives us more time for clinical conversation.
For initial evaluations of patients under 18, we typically meet with the parent and patient together for the first portion, then with the patient alone, then both together. After that, follow-up structure depends on the patient's age and clinical context — we discuss this with you at the first visit.
Yes for adults. For children and adolescents, we strongly prefer the initial evaluation in person — it improves the diagnostic process. Follow-ups can be telehealth thereafter at the patient's preference.
Call us directly during business hours. We ask for 24-hour notice when possible. Genuine emergencies are handled case-by-case.
